5-Ingredient Tuna Melt
Note: Makes 2 whole sandwiches.
Butter (2 tbsp, divided)
Tuna, drained (one 5-oz can)
Mayonnaise (2 tbsp)
Cheddar cheese, grated or sliced (3/4 cup grated, divided; 2 slices)
Sandwich bread (4 slices)
Place 1 tbsp butter on skillet and melt on medium heat.
In a cereal bowl, mix together tuna and mayonnaise (do so violently as to break apart chunks of tuna). Divide tuna mixture roughly in half. Spread each half on two slices of bread. Place 1/2 tbsp butter on the middle of each sandwich. Lay cheese down next.
Fry sandwiches, separately or together, until both sides are golden brown (about 5 minutes). If frying separately, place another tbsp butter on skillet after the first sandwich is finished. Serve with absolutely nothing else.
