Big Cookie
Prep: 10 min | Cooking: 10 min | Cooling: 10 min | Total: 30 min
INGREDIENTS
Butter, softened (1 cup or 2 sticks)
Brown sugar (1 cup)
Granulated white sugar (1 cup)
Vanilla extract (1 tsp)
Eggs (2)
All-purpose flour (2 1/2 cups)
Baking powder (1 tsp)
Baking soda (1 tsp)
Salt (1/2 tsp)
Chocolate chips (about 1/4 cup)
DIRECTIONS
In a medium size bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, white sugar, and vanilla. Beat in eggs one at a time. Preheat oven to 375 °F.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Pour dry ingredients in with wet ingredients and mix until fully incorporated.
On the center of a non-greased baking sheet -- preferably with raised edges -- pour dough so that it forms a large circle. Dot the surface with a reasonable amount of chocolate chips.
Bake for around 10 minutes or until surface is golden brown (it's better to undercook this than overcook). Let cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve.
