Green Bean and Sausage Crescent Bundles

  • Pillsbury crescent dough (one 8-count can)

  • Green beans (about 30)

  • Precooked sausages of your choice (1-2 individual sausages)

  • Cheddar cheese (1 bag)

  • Black beans (one 16 oz can)

  • Cherry tomatoes (about 15)

  • Butter (1/8 cup or 1/4 stick)


  1. Steam green beans to desired texture. (Put a little bit of water in a small pot with a steamer basket and set to high heat. Put the green beans in and keep lid on for about 5 minutes.)

  2. Chop sausages into little disks or quarters.

  3. Halve or quarter the tomatoes.

  4. Strain black beans.

  5. Preheat oven to 375 °F.

  6. Separate the 8 triangular dough pieces and set aside. One by one, fill with a conservative amount of each ingredient (sausage, cheese, green beans, black beans, and tomatoes). Fold each dough thing to close as completely as possible.

  7. Space them out on a baking sheet and lightly paint with melted butter. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown (monitor closely).
