Parboiled Figs

Prep: 5 min | Cooking: 15 min | Total: 20 min


INGREDIENTS

  • Water (2 qt)

  • Granulated white sugar (2 cups)

  • Figs, rinsed (1 qt)

  • Lemon juice (2 tbsp)

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil on high heat. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Add figs and lemon juice. Reduce heat to medium high. Boil for 15 minutes or until soft. Serve.
