Granulated white sugar (2 cups)
Figs, rinsed (1 qt)
Lemon juice (2 tbsp)
In a large pot, bring water to a boil on high heat. Add sugar and mix until dissolved. Add figs and lemon juice. Reduce heat to medium high. Boil for 15 minutes or until soft. Serve.
