Sweet Bourbon Carrots

Carrots, cut into thin discs (5)
Butter (1/2 stick or 4 tbsp)
Brown sugar (1/4 cup)
Bourbon (3 tbsp)
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add Carrots and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Drain.
Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Add carrots, brown sugar, and bourbon. Bring to simmer and cook until thickened (about 15 minutes).
