Sweet Bourbon Carrots

INGREDIENTS

  • Carrots, cut into thin discs (5)

  • Butter (1/2 stick or 4 tbsp)

  • Brown sugar (1/4 cup)

  • Bourbon (3 tbsp)


DIRECTIONS

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add Carrots and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Drain.

  2. Melt butter in a saucepan on medium heat. Add carrots, brown sugar, and bourbon. Bring to simmer and cook until thickened (about 15 minutes).
