Vanilla Jell-O

INGREDIENTS

  • Water (2 cups, divided)

  • Sugar (1 cup)

  • Vanilla extract (1 1/2 tsp)

  • Gelatin (1 tbsp)


DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix 1 cup water, sugar and vanilla together until sugar dissolves. Put in refrigerator while you prepare the other ingredients.

  2. Boil or microwave one cup of water to boiling temperature.

  3. In a medium size bowl, mix the water with gelatin. Stir constantly for 2 minutes, then pour in the refrigerated sugar water. Mix for another 2 minutes.

  4. Leave in bowl or pour into another container which you wish the jell-o to form in. Set in refrigerator for 2+ hours (more time if there is less surface area). Serve when the jell-o looks solid.
